One year ago I got to document this beautiful wedding. With the most wonderful couple at a perfect historic venue. This wedding at Casa de Espana was absolutely one to remember.
On a sunny afternoon preparations started for what would be one epic day. Amongst their loved ones, they both got ready to see each other and say I do. Emotions were palpable as I walked into Olga’s room, so much excitement abound. One of my favorite aspects of weddings is the chance to connect. You feel the love that is around the couple on that day. Seeing the way their parents looked lovingly on them and smiled when they smiled made it simple perfection.
One of my favorite moments was when Olga saw her mom. It was pure raw emotions. Knowing that the day was finally here and a new life would begin. Then came the first look with her father and I don’t think there was a dry eye around.
When you get to document such important moments you get invested in the day. The people and the story you tell matters. There was no lack of stories on this day. Once Olga and Ruben did their first look you knew we were in for a day filled with love on love.
There ceremony was so meaningful and special. Even though they had already seen each other they still were in the moment completely. When they saw each other across the aisle the tears came from both sides.
In the end all that matters is how you enjoy and live out your wedding day. I can tell you without a doubt that these two didn’t fail to be present and to love on each other all day. Some people are simply soul mates, meant and destined for each other and the feeling in the air is undeniable. This wedding at Casa Espana was everything.
